All the staff are friendly, helpful, attentative, and polite. The breakfast buffet has a great selection to choose from, like fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, omelette, and bacon, mini sausages, and there's fresh bread and rolls theres fruit and cereal cold meats and cheese fresh daily. Tea, coffee fruit juice water all available. The restaurant in the evening is great. The waiting staff are all helpful polite and informative. The kitchen staff and chef all know how to make great meals, and the food is fantastic. The room I was in was clean, spacious with a double bed that was so comfy plus an iron and board, TV, mini fridge, and 2 chairs and kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The view from the window was of the main carpark and the sea where cruise ships Dock when visiting Alesund. The bathroom located in the room is a very good size with a good shower, quite a large sink, and a toilet plus shaving mirror on a wall mounted swivel arm. There is a small selection of snack items you can purchase in the main lobby, like drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, and ice creams. The location is also really good for walking around, taking in the sights of Alesund.

What a dream experience, if in doubt do not pass go - great location, wonderful staff and very special breakfast. FABULOUS.

The view to the mountains and water was wonderful. Room was nice with big windows and warm blankets. Very nice to continue the trip after delicious breakfast with the ferry leaving right in front of the hotel.
