It was very spacious and well equipped. The bedroom and bathroom facilities were excellent. We had a great meal next door in the Thai restaurant. We were sorry we weren’t staying longer. Super hosts as well.

This place truly is beautiful! We booked only one night (we wished we stayed longer) and has a wonderful time! It seemed to be low season, as we had the whole lodge to ourselves. Great kitchen, cozy living room and the most stunning gardens you would imagine. Best: jacuzzi for free use!

The property is a couple of minutes drive from Wanaka town centre. This was perfect for us as we had a car and the drive is stunning. Facilities in the hotel (gym, sauna and pools) were absolutely brilliant! Views were sensational, beds were super comfortable and it was great to have a washing machine too! Highly recommend Oakridge resort!

The owner Allen is a really nice guy. He welcomed us with passion even though we checked in late. The hotel offer free washing and dryer. BTW, free hot tub!! I would say soaking in the hot tub with the viewing the bright stars could be the best day of my life. Thank you Allen!!!

Really great two-story spacious apartment, which allowed my family to really spread out for the first time during our trip to New Zealand. Walking distance to the lake and town. Views of the mountains from the second floor balcony.

We called on the way to say that we wouldn't be able to pick up the keys and the matter was arranged perfectly and we were told that we are definitely not the only customers for whom Google Maps has estimated the travel time completely incorrectly. So this is a big plus. Another excellent thing was the big swimming pool, jacuzzi and above all SAUNA! We are from Finland and it was great to get to the sauna after almost a four week break. At home, we take a sauna almost every day and this was truly a luxury.

This was one of our favourite places we stayed on our month long trip around New Zealand. It was a beautifully decorated villa. The bedrooms were great sizes and had ample room to hang up clothes and store belongings. The separate toilet to shower was helpful in a group of friends. Parking was easy. The shower was beautiful and the bathroom was big. The living area was very relaxing. We enjoyed having the fire on and watching TV in the evenings to relax. We also used the jacuzzi which was a nice treat and easy enough to walk from the property. The staff we met were lovely and were kind enough to let us check in early. A great area, we fell in love with Wanaka, and the villa was only a short and flat 10 minutes walk to the town and great places to eat and see. Washing facilities were excellent and the best we had on our trip. We intend to return!
