the location was excellent. from the minute we landed we knew it was going to be a great stay. we met Dave the owner and he showed us around the lodge. he spent ages giving us ideas on where to go and what to do for the day. the room was lovely and warm. the hot tub was an extra bonus. we got engaged during the stay and Wānaka springs lodge was an excellent place to spend our engagement! he gave us bikes to use during the stay to cycle down the town.

Situated just 5 km from New Zealand’s 4th largest lake, this relaxing hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and is a great starting point for outdoor activities.

Exceptional !! Absolutely the best place in Wanaka. The room is extremely clean and it has everything you need including a little fridge. The bed is super comfy and feels like heaven. The location is excellent it's very quiet and peaceful. You can grab unlimited coffee/tea, hot choc and milk in the communal room which has also a nice open fire. Allan, you've been an absolute legend! thanks for everything and the great chats!

Really great two-story spacious apartment, which allowed my family to really spread out for the first time during our trip to New Zealand. Walking distance to the lake and town. Views of the mountains from the second floor balcony.
