Paintings everywhere (owner is an artist), adorable souvenirs shop(with carefully selected quality items) stylish breakfast room with nutritious and appetizing food with a variety of options to choose from. Cleanliness is uncompromising. But what really captivated us was the breathtaking view from our terrace - Castle of Batalha just in front. We felt very welcomed, the place itself is spotless clean, quiet and the view with the monastery from our room was just stunning. We even got the chance to get a complementary upgrade. The room was spacious enough for a two-night stay and the bed was very comfortable. Exceptionally friendly staff and people we encountered in town! It did not have the style of some of the older hotels we stayed in but the hotel made the very most of what it did have. We ate jn the restaurant and enjoyed an excellent meal, as we also enjoyed breakfast. All the rooms gleamed, I have rarely stayed j such a spotless building..
