It's just up from the train station, on a lively pedestrian street. The gentleman at reception was very helpful with a map to show us what not to miss.There were several rooms for patrons to rest and take in the elegant decor. Breakfast was lovely and the bar cozy.

The hotel is right in the historical center of Guimarães but still offers parking (100m down the road). The room was absolutely fantastic, so comfortable and neat. We had a gorgeous balcony opened to the pedestrian street below, the bed had 3 different sort of pillows to choose from, I couldn’t fault anything. The staff was extremely cordial and kind, especially considering my husband’s mishap at breakfast when he spilled coffee all over the counter (we’re terribly sorry). They were all lovely to us from the first minute to the last! Great impression since it’s our first time in the city, but we’ll definitely be back and stay here again!

The room was very spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable. I enjoyed the fact that there was a bath not just a shower. The bar, restaurant and lounge areas were very nice, tastefully decorated with very comfortable seating. Location was great, a short walk to town and there is plenty of free parking at the hotel.
