Next to us was extremely noisy family without education and empathy to oters people around. We complained about their shouting and noise they were doing. They offered us another room. Then all was perfect. Hotel it's self is close to river and has really nice views

stepping into the Astoria is to step back in time. all the period features of the 1920s remain in place. Great staff also, especially the charming and kind receptionist Gonçalo.

NH has found the right concept. They understand what guests require: a slightly larger room, good soundproofing, a large bed, a large showerhead, and sockets to recharge mobile phones. There’s plenty of choice at breakfast, a spacious car park, and it’s near public transport. A tip: buses 103 and 28 take you directly to Universidade from the bus stop Arnado. Dona Ines’ story is also worth reading.

Close to Coimbra (A) station in heart of lower old town. Bakeries and cafes and restaurants nearby. Nice large room and bedroom loft. Decent bed and bathroom. Everything works! Pick up door codes at nearby Hotel Oslo. Nice folks. Nice price. I’d do it again. Two night stay. Coimbra pretty cool.

Everything was perfect. From the check in to the check out we felt like in a castle, but with all the comfort you may think you need at any time of the day. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the massive bed is so so comfortable..was like sleeping in a cloud. The super kind staff was always available and very professional. This is definitely the best play I have stayed.

Beautiful and very well maintained hotel of 20’s. Attention to the detail, the staff was very kind. It was raining at night so we stayed for dinner. The room is beautiful and food totally worth it! Highly recommended!
