This hotel is stunning! Everything about it is pure luxury. Decked out in marble, the rooms and facilities are incredible. The owner owns a marble quarry, so the design of the hotel is fully fitted out in marble. It is rare and world class. The daily breakfast was impeccable and the servers were so kind and spoke in French, English and Portuguese. The staff went over and above and we booked in a wine tasting with the chef of the restaurant and it was amazing!!

Located in the historic town of Vila Vicosa and 300 metres from Paco Ducal, Hotel Solar Dos Mascarenhas includes a 16th-century building, stables and mature gardens.

Excellent stylish hotel in beautiful Vila Viçosa. Great breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Stayed several times and always a joy. Very helpful and friendly with great restaurants and bars close by but quiet and peaceful.

Located in a former aristocratic manor from the 16th Century, Casa do Colégio Velho offers panoramic views of landscaped gardens and Vila Viçosa’s old town. Facilities include an outdoor pool.

The staff was incredibly friendly and open to help with anything. The property is beautifull, right in the centre of the city, the rooms extremely clean and the beds very comfy. Perfect stay! :D
