Hotel with a good location practically on the beach, close to attractions such as the funicular and good restaurants. Large room with good views, safe, minibar and good Wi-Fi. Attentive staff. Firm mattress but not too soft. Good shower. It was quiet. Good breakfast with fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese, cold cuts and especially the delicious fresh portuguese cheese, which goes great with warm whole wheat bread.

Perfect location, room facing the beach with a small balcony. Absolutely recommend to choose one of these rooms. Breakfast is very delicious, everything you want is there. Also the parking is a good solution with having parking lots at a partner hotel nearby.

Everything was perfect, from the accommodation to the staff. We got a room with view to the Monastery, which was really beautiful, and although the hotel is right in the center, there was no noise coming from the street. Breakfast had a great variety of food.

Absolutely perfect, every detail is designed with the guest's comfort in mind, starting with the signposts leading to the hotel. It's a family-run place, but it's managed every bit as professionally as big five-star hotels, it's spacious and squeaky clean, and still feels very homely. And the people are so lovely and attentive! The exterior swimming pool is large and clean, and the home-made jams for breakfast were fantastic!

We were very happy with our stay, the staff were amazing and friendly. Every couple of days, it was like the cleaning fairies had been in to provide clean towels, table cloth, kitchen towels, given the place a sweep which was very unexpected. The pool was clean and refreshing after walking up from the beach. We had sun loungers and an umbrella at the front of the villa, as well as outdoor seating for 6 at the back. The beach was a 10 minute walk down, which we did daily. 2 mins up the road was the back entrance to a supermarket, and an excellent restaurant (A Fornalha). We would stay again without a doubt, and can highly recommend.
