The hotel is in an excellent location on a public square with convenient restaurants nearby and close to the bay. Nice view from room, and good facilities in the room. We had a nice walk around the old town and along the bay side.

Check in was easy with friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious. Location was perfect along the Camino trail. Complementary breakfast was a bonus. Great value for money.

Friendliness of the staff from reception, house-keeping and restaurant staff. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax. We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance. A lovely hotel.

Staff was helpfull and everything was OK, we could have Breakfast before normal start . In the city center, I'm really recommend it.
