We stayed at the Sintra Bliss Hotel one night. The location is perfect, close to both the centre and the station. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed and the gentleman at reception after checking in helped us to book tickets to visit the palace of punishment, the castle and quinta de regaleira. The room we were assigned was large and very clean. Excellent room service and breakfast.

We loved everything about this little hotel. It is a true gem for the cost. The staff were excellent; alwyas helpful and were happy to store our luggage on the day of arrival. The room was clean, comfy and lovely. We were in the older section of the hotel which had a lovely living room where you could sit and read. There was cake, fruit and coffe availabe all day, and an honour bar if you wanted a drink. Breakfast was excellent, The pool looked lovely but we were there in Febraury and so did not use it. But we did sit on the patio and in the gardens. It took about 10 minutes to walk into the old town and we always felt safe.

This resort is great for families. The staff was so friendly and even gave our baby a sweet present. The facilities around were great, with a small supermarket, cafe and restaurant on site. Of all the hotels we have used in Cascais this gets the highest rating. It's great value for money!
