A good spot in a very buissy beach town. There is a parking lot, in the right corner one doesn't see easily before check in which was a bit of a hassle because there was nothing free in front of the hotel to just hop in and get the card, but once you are checked in, there's everything available.

Pousada Palacio de Estoi is located in the town of Estoi, just 10 km from Faro, on the grounds of a beautiful 19th-century palace.

What a beautiful and unique hotel! We loved exploring the grounds and gardens. The hotel was pretty quiet when we were there (November) and felt like we had it to ourselves, which we loved. The breakfast really was exceptional and had us set for our day. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool and steam/sauna rooms were such a lovely treat! The hotel staff were very kind and attentive. We appreciated the little details, such as having water and apple to take on our way out the door. There were options to dine within a short drive and plenty to see and do along the coast very close by.

I liked the location; there were a lot of restaurants around and tours of Rio Formosa. I didn't use the spa, so I can't comment on it.

Very relaxing, comfortable guesthouse and very quiet at night time. The central location was great Sangita, Rachanta and Komal are so lovely and caring. There was always a big smile from each of them girls and they check regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay and did not have any issues with our room

Above all else, the staff was the most welcoming. We were at the end of our two week road trip with our dogs and this stay was perfect. We were thinking about going straight home after our last hotel since it seemed like the dogs were not happy from being away from home for so long, but decided we didn't want that many hours in the car and we remembered Tavira as being low key and laid back. We found parking directly in front of the hotel and we were able to let ourselves into our room with easy instructions. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with limited rooms, but the rooms are very spacious as are the common areas. The staff let us unwind and we were given a small tour with directions. The staff really made us feel like we made the right decision by continuing on our trip. Simply the warmest people. This was January, so the fireplace was lit in the common area and it was lovely, warm and comfortable. Every evening the fireplace was being tended to as we arrived back to the hotel. The decor is very tasteful with tall ceilings and nice balconies overlooking a quiet street. Everything is walking distance so we did not need our car for the rest of the stay. I was very impressed with the breakfast. There was more offered than I was expecting and nothing felt rushed. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again on my next trip to Tavira.

It is a small guesthouse located in the first floor of a 19th century townhouse in Tavira’s historical centre. It is facing the historical building called Mercado da Ribeira and the river Gilão.

Lovely duplex suite with all the facilities that we needed. It doesn't have a microwave but we didn't need one. The welcome of bread, honey, quince, butter and milk meant we didn't have to go shopping when we arrived. The coffee was continually replenished. Has bath & shower. Very comfy bed and well heated for colder days. Very quiet at night as the duplex is at the back looking over the old fish market no longer in use. Great location near ferry. Lovely restaurants nearby and centre of Tavira was two minutes walk.

Pousada Convento de Tavira is set around the quiet courtyard of the 16th-century St. Augustine’s Convent.
