I stayed during the week at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp District, the venue of my conference. When I left the conference at noon on Friday I didn't have time to travel anywhere before the Jewish Sabbath. I contacted the Horton Grand Hotel, which was across the street from the synagogue where I prayed on Shabbos, and close to where I ate my Sabbath meals. I asked the Hotel for accommodations-- a ground floor room and assistance in getting in and out of my room without using an electronic key or carrying my key outside. My requests were satisfied completely. I was put in a ground floor room around the corner from the front Desk. The staff at the desk let me in to my room without waiting for me to ask. They were courteous and efficient. The room met all my needs.
