+ location, right in the smack of Old Quarter and yet it is in the quieter street. 10-20 m walk in all directions to the food stalls and shops, 5 mins walk to the lake, 2-3 mins walk to some must-see ancestral homes and temples. it is like having best of both worlds: central but not noisy. + we had the luck of being upgraded. room is spacious, beautiful. bed is comfortable and with 2 pillows per person which is ideal for me. there is complimentary bottles of water, coffee and tea. when passing by other rooms which were open/empty, i saw that their sizes are very good as well. + bathroom is spacious and modern. always clean. + inviting lobby, all facilities are always clean and in order. + the hotel staff esp hanna, daniel and trung were so helpful and friendly during our stay. + even before our stay, hanna had been very communicative and helpful with booking our halong bay day tour and answering other questions. + breakfast selection good, can order eggs prepared whatever way you want it from the friendly breakfast staff. + has laundry services, got our clothes back on the same day.

This was my first time in Vietnam from Turkey and Hanoi was my first stop. I was a little worried because I would be alone for 2 days. But all the staff were so helpful that I felt at home. The breakfast was great, the staff even translated the menu into my language and showed it to me. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the Old Quarter. When we returned to the city after our stay in Ha Long, they let us keep our belongings there until we went to the airport and waved us off to the taxi and gave us a coffee as a gift. I have never seen such hospitality anywhere in the world as in this hotel.

Staff were really accomodating and friendly. Place was clean and pleasant. The location was superb, lots of dining places around and shops to visit. Shopping for cheap clothes and most probably everything is just below the hotel which is very convenient.

Staff were exeptional. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was just the perfect size. Good amenedies. Being located in the middle of old town it was super quiet and peaceful. They let us use the facilities when we came early. They kept our luggage while we were on a 2 day tour after checkout. Definetly recommend and would come again.
