Located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf, overlooking its own private natural bay, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is situated on 1.3 km stretch of private beach. We were initially worried that the place might feel a bit outdated, but the wonderful staff and good management make this hotel a beautiful and comfortable choice. Our stay was very enjoyable, and the breakfast is a dream. The hotel also offers interesting restaurant options, which we found practical.

Le Meridien Abu Dhabi, a beach resort in Abu Dhabi, is a historical icon from the 20th century, inaugurated in 1979 by the Father of the Nation, Sheikh Zayed, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. It was nostalgic to come back to the Méridien 20 years after having left Abu Dhabi. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the high standards are maintained. I was also very happy to meet Abdeslam whom I knew between 2000 and 2004. Great professional and very friendly like all his colleagues I mention in particular Mohammed Ibrahim the reception supervisor.

We had 3 nights booked with one night between in the desert. We left our luggage at the hotel and when we return we received a room update. Very nice stuff!
