Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums. Very clean and beautiful room with a good amount of space. I thought it might be a little old but it was very new feeling despite having so much character in the furniture and decor. Pool is small but great for the summer, pool towels available. There are 2 tortoises that live near the pool! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hosts are very kind and thoughtful. Parking is free next to the hotel, hosts will help move your car if needed Excellent location. Right next to the downtown/Bazaar and a little further down is the castle (also close though!)

The rooms were cold in february but after one hour the AC did its job. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Traditional atmosphere. The receptionist was very nice, helpful and spoke good English. We didn't find the free parking (the GPS didn't manage to take us in front of the hotel, but we left the car nearby and went on by foot. No discomfort)
