Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums. We discovered this hotel through a travel video about Albania and decided to give it a try during our stay in Gjirokastër—and it was absolutely stunning! The spacious family room (with two bedrooms) was perfect for us, and the pool was a wonderful treat to cool off in both the afternoon and morning. The place truly feels like a medieval castle, but with all the modern comforts. Breakfast was generous and delicious, the rooms were spotless, we received complimentary water, and parking was well organized. Our only regret was that we could stay for just one night!

Hotel Kalemi is located 50 meters from the Ethnographic Museum and Zekate House and features traditional design elements. The charming terrace offers panoramic views of the city and Gjirokastr Castle.... The staff was very nice and the room is absolutely fantastic. Thanks a lot!
