Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums. Fabulous little hotel in the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast served each morning.

Hotel Kalemi is located 50 meters from the Ethnographic Museum and Zekate House and features traditional design elements. The charming terrace offers panoramic views of the city and Gjirokastr Castle.... This is an absolutely beautiful small hotel set in a historic building full of character. The old charm of the architecture is perfectly combined with modern comforts – the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and well-equipped. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks to the incredibly kind staff and the wonderful owner, who takes the time to share fascinating stories about the building’s history and the antiques throughout the hotel. It really adds a personal and authentic touch to the experience. The breakfast was also very good, with fresh options served in a cozy setting. There’s convenient parking available at the hotel, and the historic center of Gjirokastër is just a short walk away – perfect for exploring the beautiful old town without needing the car. If you’re looking for a unique and comfortable stay with a touch of history and heartfelt hospitality, this place is a true gem. We would love to come back!

The location is great, just where you need to be to start exploring the bazar and the castle. The decoration of the room is so traditional and absolutely amazing. Breakfast was also very nice.
