Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums. Everything. The owners were so friendly and helpful and made us feel as if we were part of the family. The location was sensation being in the middle of the bazaar. The home made breakfasts were incredible in what was offered and the quality. Our room was great with terrific views. It was nice and large and had everything you needed for a stay of a few days.

Better than the pictures, clean, quiet. The owner went far and beyond for us. And don't get me started on the breakfast, with the freshly cut fruit, the omelette, the traditional sweet grapes etc, and all that with an amazing view, 5 minutes from the old city centre. Oh, and great value for money

Hotel Kalemi is located 50 meters from the Ethnographic Museum and Zekate House and features traditional design elements. The charming terrace offers panoramic views of the city and Gjirokastr Castle.... Our stay at Hotel Kalemi exceeded all expectations. The staff personally helped us with parking, breakfast was truly exceptional, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. I’ll gladly recommend this hotel to all my friends and would love to return.

The location is great, just where you need to be to start exploring the bazar and the castle. The decoration of the room is so traditional and absolutely amazing. Breakfast was also very nice.
