Great rooms, lots of space and we loved the hammocks outside. The owner gave us earlier breakfast because we wanted to leave early which was great!

Nice garden with friendly lamas. The electric heater in our room was not powerful enough for subzero temperatures at nights, but the potbelly stove worked fine. A few minutes walk to Market Square, where you can buy warm clothes if you travel unprepared for Argentinian winter. The price is however not negotiable.

Very nice small hotel on the edge of Tilcara. Seemed to be family owned. The room was large and comfortable. It had a handy second sink with loads of shelf space for toiletries. The staff were friendly but didn't speak English - except for the receptionist on check-out. Dinner and breakfast were very good.

Located 3 blocks from Tilcara´s square, in Quebrada de Humahuaca, this hotel has comfortable rooms with private balconies and panoramic views. very beautiful place with a lot of lovely little details (welcome drink, anti-mosquito tabs for the room etc.) We stayed for two nights and we really enjoyed it. The stuff is super lovely and they went above and beyond to make us have a great stay.

Located in Tilcara, Patio Alto offers a garden. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a shared kitchen. The accommodation provides a shared lounge and a tour desk for guests. We LOVED our stay at this gem of a place and in fact wish we could have stayed longer. The room was spacious and clean, the locatiom excellent and the free parking a huge help. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so lovely and friendly. Big shout out to Marian who was the best host ever!

Located in the historic mountain town of Humahuaca, Hotel Huacalera offers modern accommodations with a swimming pool, just 2 km from the Tropic of Capricorn. This hotel is one of the best in the area. Beautiful Colonial building, comfy huge bed, cute decorations and some local pieces of art. There is a space like a mini museum/exhibition on the way to the rooms. I loved the part of the spa too, beautiful big enough pool and a view. Very attentive staff and nice restaurant in case you are not in the mood to go out. Highly recommended place.

Los arcaburcos had an amazing staff, beautiful grounds, lots of good hot water, and an excellent breakfast. We felt safe and had very comfortable beds. It was very clean and they came to check on us and make sure we felt comfortable.

Located on a hillside overlooking the Humahuaca Valley, Villa del Cielo offers rooms with private decks and free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast is provided and there is a bar. Beautiful property built to match its gorgeous Tilcara surroundings. It even has its own little vineyard onsite. Immaculately clean. Tastefully decorated rooms with nice updated bathrooms, comfortable beds and their own patio. Pool overlooking the mountains. An excellent restaurant with elaborate menu inspired in latin American cuisine. Delicious breakfast with variety of local pastries, breads and scrambled eggs to order. Located in quiet uphill part of town with a bit of a walk to downtown. I don't say this very often: unbelievable value for the money! I wish we would have stayed here longer.
