Free Wi-Fi is available. Perfectly located, clean and nice environment, friendly stuff, we could have not asked for more in Cafayate. Breakfast was also great.

Salta’s Main Square is 300 metres away. Everything! Absolutely wonderful hotel in every way. Immaculate bedrooms, bathroom, lobby and restaurant. Service was outstanding - welcoming charming door man who took our cases up, reception staff and restaurant staff were all excellent polite and friendly. Our only regret was that we had only booked one night.

Rooms at Hotel Boutique Balcón de la Plaza are equipped with air conditioning, a minibar and a flat-screen cable TV, as well as a private bathroom. Beautiful historical place. We had two different rooms for the 4 of us and one was super tight and the other was very comfortable. A bit pricier than other hotels in the area but nice colonial building if you want historical. Would recommend.

Everything was beautiful and clean. Rooms are comfy, breakfast is great, location just at the cenetr. Javier and the other staff were really helpful and nice. Very recommended!

Providing a tranquil environment, the bright rooms in Villa Cardon feature private bathrooms and garden views. Excellent from start to finish. 200 yrs + Old building , breakfast with fantastic bread and candlelight dinner. The real candlelight as in ancient times. Congratulations to all the staff.

Set in a charming early 20th Century adobe and stone house, Sala de Payogasta offers Breakfast and there is restaurant. The town hall is 1 km away.

Decorated with gabled wooden ceilings and tiled floors, heated rooms at Sala de Payogasta are very airy. All of them have private bathrooms. It’s beautiful, quite, comfortable bed, the room was so cute with original features, the staff were amazingly helpful . The restaurant across the way had lovely food. Are best stay in Argentina.

The house was the residence of the last Spanish Governor. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff at both the reception and the dining room is very nice. The room is spacious with a very modern washroom.

At the restaurant of Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa guests can enjoy a chef-designed menu with regional specialties and carefully selected wines from the exclusive wine cellar and local vineyards. This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!
