They were nice, informative, very generous in accommodating our requests and overall a cute and enjoyable couple. The house sports a beautiful view and the location is just close enough to walk to nearby restaurants or the lake, but far enough so you feel privacy. The village itself has a nice lake front where you can have a nice picnic, walk around and feed the ducks(Mark"s idea actually). 10/10 would come again!

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. Excellent! Super nice place to stay. Great location, lots of activities to do nearby. Great views of the mountains.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. I loved that the room was a good size and that there were chairs that we could sit on to relax. It also was in an excellent location and great having the balconies to sit on.

Renovated in 2015, this hotel in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region offers panoramic views of the scenic lake and the Dachstein Massif. It features a garden with a pool and offers free WiFi access. The location was absolutely great. It's right next to a boat bank from where you can take a boat ride to Hallstat city. Also, it's right in front of a park which is next to the lake. The views from the property are stunning.

Most convient self check-in. I chosed Obernaun over Halstatt "city". There is a bus 100m from the hotel straight to Hallstatt. The busstation is also the busstation for the lift to the saltmine. I came by train to Obernaun. From the station you can see the hotel...just follow the path paralle to the train rails. The best pitza..huge and beer at the restaurant 20 meters from the hotel. Nice warm fast meal after a day in Hallstatt. I took the boat once from Hallstatt to Obernaun...And back to Hallstatt. I did not know where I was. And a dayticket Obernbaun to Hallstatt Dec 2024 is 5.20€. Lovede the snow landscabe next to the saltmine And the skywalk ..view from above over Hallstatt and the lake. Had a warm meal at the restaurant next to the skywalk. Lovede the Christmas market (.it is not every day need to check what days)at Hallstatt Live concert from a balcon. I will come back and do the same things. And stay at the same hotel. With a good breakfast. Plan your breakfast with the departure of the bus to Hallstatt.
