Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. This was the best stay of our family trip! The place was very clean and comfortable, perfectly family-friendly and had great amenities. We especially enjoyed the beautiful playground, which came with a postcard-worthy view. Truly a memorable experience—we’d love to come back again.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. I like the peacefulness. The location is a bit far from Markt, but it is close to the bus stop. The view was super! We booked the smallest room, and we got the one with a balcony, which is helpful for us as we were traveling with a child. I totally recommend this place.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. The location is the center of the city. Our room has view on the city square, church, mountain and the lake !! Also the host was very helpful and caring when my wife was feeling cold she provided extra heater to our room to make it extra warmer. It was a nice gesture, thank you !

Located in the car-free centre of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region, the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of Lake Hallstatt. this is my 2nd time staying here. first time didnt book the lake view so it was just okay considering the property location and the view of the lake, but this time I FELL IN LOVE with every aspect of it, from the location of the property (no doubt), the helpful and friendly staff, the food of its restaurant, the free shuttle for check in/out to the car parking, the spacious room during our stay (we got free upgrade and just realized during check out), THE VIEW from our balcony was just spectacular. this is what a memorable trip is supposed to be. thanks for making our honeymoon trip blessful.
