Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. The chalet is beautiful; so clean, and peaceful. The scenery was spectacular.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. Location was perfect. Room was clean, comfortable and had a fantastic view. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel staff Abhi assisted me in lending of the UK to Europe converter and advised on my transportation. George was the one who assisted me in getting to 5 fingers & skywalk. Without him, I wouldn't get my luggage up from 3rd level to the 4th as there was no elevator. Luka advised me on skywalk tour. These staff are the best I came across.

Set in the beautiful Trauntal Valley, the 3-star superior Hotel Moserwirt enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Austrian Alps. A jacuzzi and free Wi-Fi in the lobby are offered. Spacious room with many amenities. Secured parking spot. Everything was super clean. Moreover, breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner at the restaurant which is excellent. I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you to all the nice personnel that made our stay special.

Apartment Hotel Seerose offers rooms and apartments in Obertraun in the heart of the Salzkammergut Region, a 1-minute walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt and only 3 km away from the UNESCO-listed... We booked a small room with a mountain view (although I suspect all rooms have a mountain view since there are mountains in all directions). It had a balcony, room for clothes and a kettle (with cups). It is close to the Obertraun ferry terminal (was not open when we were there) and the train station. The Hallstat train station is also about 20 mintues away. From there you can take a ferry to Hallstat (the train station is on the other side of the lake). You can also get quite easily to the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car (around 45 minutes walking). There is also a supermarket nearby (about 10-20 minutes walking)
