Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. Amazed and surprised when opened the door tot he balcony. I was like in a dream. Fantastic view from the balcony. LOcation superb. Value for money. Breakfast was in another hotel. Excellent breakfast.

Located in the car-free centre of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region, the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of... The balcony had the most beautiful view, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Everything was great. The price was a bit high, but it was worth it. It’s generally a bit hard to find a good breakfast in Hallstatt, so we had no regrets. The staff were very attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Luka — he was very kind.

Everything was perfect....the location, we got there very easy, the hotel was great, staff also very kind, the view from the room was amazing.

It's a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights or weekends! 2 minutes walk from the train station, bus station and a lake! Great view from the balcony. Very kind personal- manager kindly provided us with the kettle.
