What a lovely place to stay! Mark is absolutely amazing, very hospitable and he gave us some really nice recommendations for places to visit. The room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was great. Overlooking Lake Wolfgang, Hotel Garni Anzengruber is only 100 metres away from the shore. It offers free internet access, buffet breakfast, balconies in all rooms and a private lido. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

The host and owner in one person was absolutely fabulous and helpful beyond regular service.. Thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay!

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. The location is close to everything in Hallstatt and accesible from the ferry. They arranged for cutlery and glasses for ushering our Friend's birthday. Specklessly clean, super comfortable and lovely rooms with balcony and views.

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. The views from our balcony right onto the lake. The staff was fantastic. And the location not in the middle of town so it was quieter but you could still walk there in about 5 minutes.
