Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. The hotel stands alone in a beautiful natural spot, with an easy 5 min ferry ride to St Gilgen. There are lots of hiking and swimming spots. The boat provides easy access to St Wolfgang and Strobl. The restaurant is relaxed but excellent quality and very popular with locals. Booking is recommended. Every night we were delighted to eat the delicious specials. Breakfast was simply amazing, the chefs are superb! The staff were hard working and incredibly friendly.

Overlooking Lake Wolfgang, Hotel Garni Anzengruber is only 100 metres away from the shore. It offers free internet access, buffet breakfast, balconies in all rooms and a private lido. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Early check in was super convenient and location was great. Room was a bit pricey but it was great quality, bed very soft and warm. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and my bus ticket to Salzburg was included in my stay. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to St Gilgen.

The Hotel Weisser Hirsch is an oasis of relaxation in the heart of St. Wolfgang, directly on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. It offers a private lake access and free Wi-Fi. I really like the room with the view!

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. ⸻ We stayed for a week in August, a family of four with two children. Overall, the hotel is excellent – it’s in a perfect location and has a very nice private beach (including SUP boards and rowboats available for guests). Breakfast was good and varied, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Parking is not always available on-site, but it’s not a big issue unless it’s raining heavily, as the hotel provides free parking just a two-minute walk away. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant once – the food was tasty but relatively expensive compared to other restaurants in the area.

Haus Mayerhofer is situated in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, a 5-minute walk from Lake Wolfgang and the Zwölferhorn Cable Car. Free WiFi and free parking are available. Haus Mayerhofer is a lovely and cosy place! We spend Christmas there and had the best time! Beds are really comfortable! And it has a big living room and kitchen space. The apartment was perfectly heated for the snow! Although the bathroom is en suite with the one room, it wasn't a problem for us as 'n family. Breakfast is available on request. Everything is closed in St. Gilgen on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but we made a delicious meal in our apartment. There is Spar supermarket close by to buy all you need. The people are very friendly and St. Gilgen is a beautiful town! It is close to the bus stop which connects you to anywhere!
