The employees were incredibly polite. Especially Alexander was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast is great. If I come to Salzburg again, I will definitely choose this place.

A 10-minute drive from the centre of Salzburg, Hotel Frauenschuh is located in the quiet and green district of Leopoldskron-Moos. Amazing, clean and convenient small hotel. Despite its size, it gives you an exclusive feeling: well-designed rooms, great restaurant, small yet new and beautiful wellness and fitness area, children game room. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the kitchen staff produces magic (kudos to Sofia). Easy access by bus to the Old Town, you can also get Salzburg card at the hotel. Parking is ample, easy and convenient, which is a great thing when visiting cities like Salzburg.

I just loved everything in that place! I stayed there for 4 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. I slept very well here and it was such a relaxing hotel. The owner family and their staff were marvellous! The breakfast was excellent with a lot of local or home made food. The wellness area was lovely: it was only for adults and very peaceful. The pools were allowed for all ages. There is free tea, bubble water and small snacks. I didn't have a car, but I rented an e-bike for 15 euros and explored Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall with it. There is also a local taxi, who will drive you anywhere you want in Wals' area for 1 euro.

Family-run since 1912, the non-smoking, adults-only Bergland Hotel offers a quiet location in the centre of Salzburg, only a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace, the Congress Centre, and the main... I stayed at Bergland Hotel from 21.10. to 25.10., so I've spent 5 days/4 nights there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, upon check-in I received a map of Salzburg and a list of the best local restaurants/cafés, my room was equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle - with complementary tea ( 2 teabags + portions of sugar, replaced every day by cleanup staff :) ) The hotel itself is really pleasant and cozy, equipped with an elevator too. For 14€/day one could also receive breakfast there. The location was perfect, just a corner away there's a Billa store, all the major attractions are within a 15-20 min. walk, there are also 2 bus stops in close vicinity. I would 100% recommend it for anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Salzburg.

Big room, excellent location. Couple who ran the place were very friendly and responsive. Excellent breakfast. Super quiet, parking on site. Easy bus ride into central Salzburg. An added bonus was free transit pass.
