Surrounded by vineyards, this 4-star hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Göttweig Abbey and 10 minutes from the centre of Krems. The property was really well maintained with great facilities. The owners of accommodation were very hands on and had great values They were very knowledgeable about food and wine which made the stay an experience and enjoyable. And the breakfast and dinner were delicious!!

It has its own charm with the decoration and paintings, we absolutely loved it! The breakfast is freshly made by the owner, Heidi. It was nicely served and the portion is more than enough 😁 We really enjoyed staying there, and definitely would go back again! ☺️

Located in the pedestrian zone in the Old Town of Melk,at the foot of Melk Abbey, the historic Rathauskeller features a restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine. We stayed in this hotel on a short cycling trip along the Danube. Their main business seems to be the restaurant, which by the way serves good dinner and ice-cream! The rooms are on the 2nd floor and despite the busy restaurant below, we slept well. And they obviously knew how to set up a good breakfast buffet!

Offering direct views of the magnificent Melk Abbey, Hotel Restaurant zur Post welcomes you right in the centre of Melk. Everything. The hotel is in a beautiful old building. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Melk itself is a sweet little town with a magnificent Abbey. Little market during advent time is cute.
