The hospitality was the best part of our stay and we could not ask for anything better. The property is kept in the best condition possible, especially the gardens and pool area.

It has its own charm with the decoration and paintings, we absolutely loved it! The breakfast is freshly made by the owner, Heidi. It was nicely served and the portion is more than enough 😁 We really enjoyed staying there, and definitely would go back again! ☺️

Located 600 metres below Melk Abbey, which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage, Hotel Stadt Melk offers free WiFi and parking, and newspapers. I loved this hotel, situated at the heart of Melk town. The hospitality, the most comfortable bed, the breakfast - thank you for a most wonderful stay!

Ideally situated in the heart of the city of Krems, at the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau, the family-run Hotel Unter den Linden is just a few minutes’ walk away from many of the... Location is excellent, good for exploring Wachau valley. However, the best thing about this place is breakfast and service. Absolutely spectacular, and great value for money. Great selection of most breakfast items and a la carte hot items. Truly enjoyed our short stay here.

Offering direct views of Melk Abbey, Hotel Restaurant zur Post is located right in the centre of Melk. It offers a sauna, free Wi-Fi, and a free bicycle hire. The hotel’s location was fantastic, right in the center of the city, making it convenient for exploring. Parking was free, which was a nice bonus. The check-in process was smooth, and we received our room key earlier than the official check-in time, which was great. Breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of variety to choose from. There was a minor issue with the coffee machine not working, but the staff addressed it immediately, which I appreciated.

A traditional Viennese-style café in a 16th-century building in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Melk, Madar Café Restaurant zum Fürsten is only 500 metres from Melk Abbey. Perfect location in the middle of town right on the main square, easy walk from the train station, even with luggage, and a short walk to the abbey. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend if you are in Melk.
