I highly recommend you stay here! First of all, Mark and Jane are amazing! They were nice, informative, very generous in accommodating our requests and overall a cute and enjoyable couple. The house sports a beautiful view and the location is just close enough to walk to nearby restaurants or the lake, but far enough so you feel privacy. The village itself has a nice lake front where you can have a nice picnic, walk around and feed the ducks(Mark"s idea actually). 10/10 would come again!

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony. Dinner is really nice with kid menu as well. But need to be patient as a little bit long waiting time. Close to salt wine and better to go there in the morning to have enough time visit on the mountain.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. We loved the room and the location. The beds were very comfy, and there were no disturbances from other rooms. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was also spotless. We had a great view overlooking the lake, which was amazing. Check-in was also perfect. We had a hassle-free stay.

Located in the car-free centre of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region, the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of... The property is located in the middle of the main square of Hallstatt, a beautiful place. We booked the room with a balcony to the main square and do not regret, the view is spectacular. The property offers a pick up from P1 (which we ended up not using), we parked at P3 instead and walked to the property, a 15 min walk along their main street. The restaurant of the hotel is very nice with good food.

The place is located at a very convenient distance from the bus and train station, and reaching without a car was not a problem. The room was very comfortable and clean, with an incredible view of the nearby lake and mountains. Overall I had a very pleasant stay
