The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. The staff were amazing super helpful and accommodating, I was traveling with 2 small kids and they were very helpful and patient

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They look after the guests and are willing to help. I was very impressed by the customer service. There are two supermarkets with a walking distance, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

This hotel stands opposite Garmisch-Partenkirchen Train Station and the Zugspitze Mountain Railway. It offers free Wi-Fi in the lobby, German cuisine and Alpine-style rooms with solid wood furniture. Definitely 10/10 for me. The interior is a bit old-school, but very cozy, perfectly clean and comfortable. Two steps from the station, close to old Garmisch and other points like Bahn station to Zugspitze, hiking trails start points, as well as grocery stores also nearby. Breakfast is beyond praise.

We had a wonderful stay in The hotel. The staff were helpfull and very friendly. The hotel is very close to the busstop and so easy to travel to sightseeing attractions.

The rooms have older furnishings, but very stylish, and the bathrooms are new. Rooms in building B have nice balconies with partial mountain views. Everything is clean. The main building reception and dining area is a work of art, as is the main building facade, purely beautiful. The hotel does not have air conditioning, but even in a heatwave rooms get nice and cool in the evening.

Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking. Conveniently located, great value, very clean, staff was very nice, good breakfast. Herr Huber personally greeted us.
