The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is a very beautiful place. We received a warm welcome from the host, with complimentary snacks. Very clean, big room, comfortable beds, chairs on the balcony where you can enjoy a gorgeous view. Free parking, nice pizzeria close by and a beautiful park with multiple trails just behind the hotel. The breakfast was rich with options and very tasty. We had a grand time!

Me and my wife traveled with a baby boy 1 year and 10 months old , The hotel exceeded our expectation , For the first time I felt as I owe to them, Staff is very responsive and helpful , I would like specially to thank, Mr Bozilov and Svetlana from reception . We were with breakfast, lunch and dinner . Quality of food is excellent , very delicious , Service in restaurant exceeded my expectation . Location is very quiet , it makes stay relaxing And joyful . Outdoor and indoor space are enough to Serve all needs for all Ages ! We made friends with family from Dortmund , they told me , They like it so much , That they will make this hotel Their annual holiday . So summary we highly recommend this hotel !!! Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking. Surprisingly enough, the owner was speaking French. He was vey helpful and made us feel like home. The breakfast was excellent with all you want to eat to start the day. The place was only 15 minutes ride from Garmisch where we wanted to go for two days, therefore ideal location. A lot of restaurants are available by walking distance. Overall, a lovely stay. We highly recommend this place !
