The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family! The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They look after the guests and are willing to help. I was very impressed by the customer service. Lovely pearl in the centre of the old town! This place will make you feel like in an historical novel! The hotel communal areas are delightful! The breakfast was impressive: delicious, lots of options, amazing playlist playing. I highly recommend the place for romantic getways! It is perfect! The room was huge, all in a woody/red/burgeoise vibe. We loved it! The hotel is located in the heart of the city, so you can visit everything by walking. Reception staff was incredibly welcoming. Breakfast team was super kind and warm! Your team is doing great!

Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking. We appreciated a lot the cleaniness of the room and the kindness of the hosts. The locatiin was great, close to the center of the city and also close to the slopes.
