Located on the Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay Waterfront Motor Inn is a 15-minute drive from Great Otway National Park. The famous Twelve Apostles are a 1-hour drive away. Local shops, cafes and restaurants and the visitor information centre are within walking distance. The lady at reception was so friendly it felt like coming home. The room was exceptionally clean and well equiped. Besides the usual microwave and dishes, there was even salt and pepper :-) Amazing The view onto the beach, which lies just a few meters away is superb.

Each room has a private verandah with access to the peaceful gardens. This property was clean, well maintained and tastefully appointed. A very comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and a quiet setting made for a great night’s rest. Check in was smooth and we were asked if we had dinner plans and given suggestions as to where we could go. A small container of milk in the fridge for our morning tea was a pleasant bonus. I would stay again and definitely recommend. Thank you!!

Merrijig Inn bed and breakfast is just a 3-minute walk from Shipwreck Walk Trail and a 6-minute drive from Port Fairy Golf Club. East Beach is a 15-minute drive away. The boutique accomodation was lovely furnished with great attention to detail. We loved their big garden where we enjoyed a quiet afternoon in the sun including nice coffee from the common area. The breakfast buffet was great with a hot meal. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at their restaurant.

The house and the hosts were so warm and friendly. The interior is unique and authentic in traditional British style. Breakfast is amazing- hot, fresh and tasty. Everything was excellent.

Just 3 minutes’ drive from Port Campbell Beach, each Eastern Reef Cottages features a private balcony with a BBQ and lovely garden views. All are individually decorated and handcrafted from native wood. Free parking is available on site. The cottage was nearer to the town, just a couple of minutes of drive. The pictures do not do enough justice. We enjoyed our stay, the property had everything we wanted; kitchen, Netflix and more than enough beds for the whole family. The service was also fantastic, we were given an upgrade.

Friendly, helpful with suggestions about restaurants and places to see on the Great Ocean Road. The breakfast was well done and a treat for us. Our suite was very clean and overall we would recommend Captains at the Bay as the place to stay in Apollo Bay.
