Loved the remote check in, took the pressure off confirming an arrival time as I wasn't sure how late into the night I would be. I absolutely loved the location - didn't make it to the included breakfast as got pulled away by the many nearby local eateries but I loved the convenience of the location, the free parking and the easy/private access to my super comfy loft. It was a very lovely and relaxing weekend escape! The communications in the lead up to check in were also incredibly helpful and informative.

The accomodation and breakfast were perfect in every sense. Hosts Evelyn and Stewart were wonderful and took care of our every need and beyond. We felt loved by their care. The place was clean and beautiful. Must say breakfast was hearty and tasty.

Even in the winter off season, Thistle Hill offered the perfect location and size to host our party of 5 for a couple of days in Hunter Valley. Due to the short visit and weather we didn’t take advantage of being in walking distance to wineries but there were several along the main road. Hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful in arranging the bedding to fit our needs. They even set up the fire pit for us to enjoy our first night, which the kids loved!

Beautiful location, very quiet, well stocked firewood, ample kitchen, lovely view from the balcony for breakfast.
