Staff were best ever encountered anywhere. Couldn't do enough to help us out with visiting grandchildren. Advised us of local sites to visit. We stayed 4 nights. Absolutely fantastic. THE PLACE TO STAY!

Debbie's is a great spot for a couple's getaway prior to or returning from your K'gari adventures. The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. Such a comfortable, homely place. They provide so many extras at no charge. Bikes, beach gear, chilly bins, books games and DVDs. So close to the shops and beach. They don't service the rooms daily but make it easy for one to get extra towels if required, or empty bins if required. Loved our time there!

Received a complementary room upgrade, plus a bottle of Moët for new year. The breakfast buffet was amazing and you could have food cooked to order. Location also good and you can catch the light rail to the centre of Surfers Paradise.

Located in Chinchilla, The Laurels of Chinchilla features a garden and shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It’s rustic outside beauty, modern inside amenities and cleanliness. We felt at home with the country comfort and friendliness of the hosts. Breakfast was divine and a wonderful chance to meet up with other guests and share stories.
