I travel a lot and have seen many places. This one is special, to say the least. The host is making sure everything is taken care of. Getting there with our camper was an adventure because of the narrow streets. But it was alright. And he personally helped with the parking on the premises. He was full of helpful information, especially for places to enjoy the best local food. The room with private bath was simple, clean, calm and relaxing. Thank you so much

Cama grande y súper cómoda. La ubicación es inmejorable ya que andando estás a 3 min del casco antiguo y a la vez es una zona tranquila para un buen descanso. Parking privado y cerrado en la puerta del hotel. Valida, la dueña, es una mujer increíble que además te regala su historia y experiencia para que entiendas perfectamente el pasado y presente de los Balcanes. Un desayuno delicioso. Vamos, absolutamente recomendable para visitar Sarajevo.

The host helped us conact the police and let us keep our things in the room longer. Thank you! The hostel is very nice and clean, I loved our bed by the window.

Clean and comfortable. Cozy, Nice view over the town. Good internet. Very nice breakfast. Peaceful. The hotel is not in the center though but accessible with own parking and taxis are available on call as well. It is some half an hour to an hour walk to the center, that can be very pleasant in the autumn, like this time, but I am not sure whether it would be in the winter or during the heat summer hours.

First and foremost, the apartment was immaculately clean and well-maintained. It was clear that the hosts take pride in their property and work hard to keep it in top-notch condition. The decor was modern and stylish, giving the space a warm and inviting feel. The location of the apartment was perfect for our needs. It was situated in the heart of Sarajevo, making it easy for us to explore the city and take in all of its cultural and historical landmarks. Additionally, the apartment was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy for me to get around the city without a car. I really appreciated the free parking provided by the hosts. This was a huge benefit, as I did not want to worry about parking in the busy city center. Overall, my experience at the Modern City Apartments was outstanding. Kanita and Admir were gracious and welcoming hosts, and the apartment exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and stylish place to stay in Sarajevo.

I've been travelling alone since I was 19 and this hotel made me feel at home. They serve fresh and delicious breakfast everyday (not your typical European so-called breakfast, they serve a real one) and make sure you're really full! They have the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever met, literally cannot thank them enough... They serve you hot drinks in the lobby, the hotel is historical and well-decorated. As a solo female traveler, I can assure you it's a very safe hotel! Mr. Tolga makes sure you make the best of your stay. Air conditioner and heaters work perfectly. Towels, robes, slippers, shampoo etc, they provide everything you'll need. Sauna, hammam and jacuzzi are clean and hot. The room welcomes you with mini cookies, sherbet and water. Housekeeping seals the toilet with a sticker after each check-out to show it's been cleaned for you. Lastly, the location! No hotel in the country can beat this one's location, it couldn't be any better! In a few minutes, you can reach to a supermarket, Bascarsija, Latin Bridge, City Hall etc, the best restaurants etc... Don't even consider booking any other places. Interior is like a living Ottoman era... I thank each and every person who works here. They built an amazing team!
