Amazing location of this cozy and modern hotel, super friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are bright and seem newly renovated, breakfast was plentiful (with great coffee!), and the individual servings of eggs was a lovely treat.

Hotel Kandilj is situated in the heart of the bazaar Baščaršija in the oldest part of Sarajevo, combining a traditional Bosnian atmosphere and modern comfort. Free WiFi access is available. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is very confortable, very close to the old town (5 min walk), clean and has good quality/price. The room was clean and reasonably big (had hair dryer too). Breakfast was good (mainly continental, with both cold and cooked food), they served bosnian coffee too. The main plus is the staff: they’ve all been kind and helpful before we arrived (always replied super quickly to our texts and accomodated all our requests/needs) and during our stay. They even offer late check out when they heard we had a late flight. The hotel is highly recommended.

It offers air-conditioned unit fitted with free WiFi. absolutely recommended. our host was one of the kindest hosts i ever met. the apartment was very clean, spacious, with everything we needed. the beds were comfortable. parking right next to the building. location is great, very close to the old town, yet very quiet and peaceful. i would definitely stay again :)

The host, Nera is such a kind, warm and beautiful person. As soon as I arrived I felt so welcome and safe. I had some lovely chats with Nera. The location is wonderful and the breakfast next door is wonderful too. The place is immaculately clean and the beds are so comfortable!! It's also great to have a kettle and lots of tea and coffee to choose from. I will definitley stay here again. As a solo female traveller I felt 100% safe. Thank you Nera, for everything.
