The Vilvoorde Lodge offers modern rooms with free WiFi in the wing of an historic building. This former house of correction has a 24-hour front desk and is located 15 minutes’ drive from Brussels. Quiet, special setting as this was a prison. They kept some beautiful structures and decoration.

Located in Leuven and set in an old traditional Belgian farmhouse, Hotel The Lodge Heverlee lies 200 metres from the Arenberg Castle with its large gardens. The hotel is a bit out of the city, but it is across from a very pretty part of the campus with a great park and beautiful buildings. The Greek restaurant across the street was delicious and friendly. The walk into the city center went through a forest beside a stream and then through a very beautiful old part of town - so it was very pleasant, though a few kilometers.

Thermae Boetfort is a 400-year old castle domain which offers elegant yet rustic rooms, both inside (superior & deluxe) as well as outside (classic) of the castle domain. Staff where amazingly kind and helpful, the food was delicious and a wide range of variety on the menu, the spa itself was perfect for unwinding and resetting yourself.

Situated opposite to the train and bus stations of Leuven, this hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms for budget travellers to have a good night’s rest. The location is great, 10 minutes walk from Oude Markt. The beds are confortable, place is quiet and clean. The breakfast is continental, but found some very good omlets i have seen only at this hotel! Will come again!
