They helped call cabs when we needed them (e.g., to get to Arbanassi).. Breakfast was plentiful. The owner even packed some breakfast snacks for us to take with us. The location is near the Mother of Bulgaria statue in Veliko Tarnovo, so attractions in the old town are within walking distance (craft street, fortress, museums).

The bed was large and comfortable, which was perfect as our two-year-old child slept with us. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

From this place once the kings of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom enjoyed the beauty and grandeur of their achievements. The hotel building is a restored and reconstructed old town house, built in 1891, which has undergone many famous historical events. Available limited free private parking spaces, which can not be reserved. The breakfast was modest but still delicious, the staff was very kind and eager to help. The room was clean and comfortable. An exceptional place all around.
