This is a small boutique hotel located next to the Praça da Sé, a popular square in the heart of Pelourinho. Public transportation and the Elevator Lacerda are a short walk away. Free WiFi is available througout the property. Position really strategic, in the historical Centre. Safe area with police. The hotel is elegant and smart at the same time . Staff wonderful and really prepared on all the inquiries of the client. Breakfast really good ! In particular the service of the driver Vinicius is really appreciated by us . He professionally accompanied us from Salvador to another resort traveling for 6 hours speaking a perfect English. I recommend hotel and all the services provided .

Very safe. Enjoy the beach!!

Barracuda Boutique is few steps from the urban beaches and main street. Ilheus Airport is 60 km away. The property has about 11 rooms and feels cosy and private (my concern when booking was the pool area’s size which wasn’t an issue at all). A lot of attention has been given to interior design and it is a great example of beautiful contemporary Brazilian architecture (modern and warm). Service, drinks and food were excellent. Having been most recently to the Conrad in Koh Samui I felt no material difference in my experience. Well done team Barracuda!
