The garden - which is beautiful - was especially relaxing. I have fond memories of sipping coffee while sitting, lying or meditating in the garden. This was my first stop on my travel around the lakes region, and I really appreciated having a hostel where I could rest, recharge, and prepare for the rest of my travel. The location is also good for a first stop because it is close to the beach, the lake, and Ilha Japonesa.

The hotel is very unique with tasteful decor, and exceptional cleanliness, the location is perfect, steps away from the beach and a 5-minute walk to Rua das Pedras where you can find everything from beautiful restaurants, boutiques, and souvenir shops. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom and stunning views of Praia do Canto. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast, à la carte service with a variety of typical Brazilian cuisine, and at the front desk you can book wonderful day trips and other services. So I can wait to come back because Villa Bela-Emilia became my home away from home and their staff Pricilla, Terto, Pedro, Guilherme, Thiago, Claudia, Suani, Cauã, Fabiana, Rodrigo, Thiago 2 and Luciana became part of my family!

It was during the low season so there was just one other couple within the premises so it was a very beautiful and quiet stay. The staff were all absolutely lovely and super attentive. We felt very well looked after and cared for highly recommend staying at this place.
