Location is next to the byward market area with a lot of restaurants and shops, as well as a large mall. Parliament hill and a number of museums are in convenient walking distance as well. Strong recommendation!

Set in a restored jailhouse, this Ottawa hostel is adjacent to the Ottawa Convention Centre and Rideau Centre Mall. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi and serves a daily continental breakfast. The property was unique. I stayed in a single cell. It was clean, comfortable and it didn’t feel too small. The amenities were great. The breakfast was better than I’ve had at some hotels. Great cuppa coffee. The best part I felt completely safe as a lone traveler. Stay for the tour!!

Directly across from the National Arts Centre, this non-smoking, landmark hotel is only steps from major attractions, and offers spacious accommodations with 49-inch TVs and first-class amenities in... The hotel was very conveniently located in the central area, surrounded by good restaurants and cafés. The reception staff were welcoming and accommodating.
