A flat-screen cable TV is provided in each uniquely decorated room at Abigail’s Hotel. Italian marble and antique features, such as a claw-foot bathtub, are offered in the bathroom. Select rooms offer a spa bath. Rooms can only be accessed via stairs. It was beautiful! A little like stepping back in time with tasteful antique furniture and all the home comforts you need. The breakfasts were amazing! Our biggest regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Island View B&B is located in Nanaimo, 11 km from Newcastle Island Marine Park and 13 km from Nanaimo Museum. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 11 km from Nanaimo Bastion. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Darlene’s place is gorgeous with beautiful gardens and amazing water views. She is a lovely and attentive host, and made us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade scones, and scrambled eggs. The room with double beds was impeccable with a little coffee station, and the beds were cozy. Lots of extra pillows were on offer too. There is a nice pub and many other dining options nearby, and a few beautiful parks on the waterfront within a very short drive. We highly recommend a stay with her!

The elegant rooms at Fairholme Manor are styled with hardwood floors and clean white walls. Each room features a TV and VCR, small refrigerator and bathrobes. Many boast 12-foot ceilings or large bay windows. This was the absolute best accommodation during our 6 weeks in North America and the best we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, from the beginning to the end. The whole property was absolutely stunning and very well maintained. A heaven of peace. The gourmet breakfast really blew us away, it was excellent and outstanding, the best we’ve ever had. Our room was very clean and really comfortable and it had the best view as a deer family came to visit every morning. Sylvia was the perfect host, she is a such a helpful, friendly and lovely person and it was a real pleasure talking to her. Her staff was also absolutely awesome. Thank you for making our stay so special ❤️ We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Fairholme Manor.
