Loved the mineral pools. Our room was stunning, with attention to detail. We received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for our 20th anniversary, which was much appreciated. Located in downtown Tofino, the suites at Himwitsa Lodge have scenic views of the Clayoquot Sound. It features a fish shop and native art gallery on-site. We thought the location was fabulous, the best view in Tofino overlooking the dock and inlet, out towards the sunset. The room was large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The little kitchenette was perfect for making breakfast. The shops, cafes/restaurants and boat/plane/kayak tour operators of Tofino were all within walking distance. The lovely beaches were a short drive away and there were bikes for hire if needed. Visit to the Tofino brewery was great. Free parking was a big bonus as it can be difficult or expensive otherwise.

Beaconsfield Bed and Breakfast - Victoria is not a hotel but a heritage, built by the architect who built the Victoria Parliament Building. Besides, the breakfast was very special. They serve us yoghurt with fresh fruits and smoked salmon with egg. The dining room is very nice but small. They have 2 dining rooms. We like the one with window and sunshine.

This adult only 110-year-old Italian mansion in historic Victoria is adjacent to the Government House and Gardens. It features a daily homemade breakfast and luxury rooms with a 2-person jetted tub. Impeccable! The room we stayed in was beautiful and had everything we needed. The breakfast was so delicious and the service was brilliant. I could not recommend enough. It was about a 20 minute walk into downtown but a really nice walk. The area is just lovely.
