We were warmly greeted by Peter who very kindly upgraded us to the best suite in the Seine Boat Inn with views directly over Alert Bay. Later that evening, we saw a humpback whale just in front of our porch! Pure magic!

Beautiful rooms and interior! Fantastic pricing, very simple check-in and our process. Great internet connection and a good TV in the room meant movie nights were a go.

Showcasing Edwardian décor, this B&B in Victoria city centre is just 10 minutes’ walk from Royal British Columbia Museum. Rooms feature a fireplace and barbecue facilities are located on site. The location was easy to find, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and seating parlour were exceptional as well as the breakfast nook area. It was a perfect location for walking to all the best downtown attractions in Victoria.

Nestled on the shores of the Salish Sea near Victoria, British Columbia, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel offers an unforgettable oceanfront retreat. Fabulous hotel at the ocean in the wonderful small beach town Oak Bay (near a golf course) at just 15 minute drive from Victoria. The friendly personel and large rooms plus truly great pool at the ocean front made the best place for our family during our Canada trip.

Located in downtown Tofino, the suites at Himwitsa Lodge have scenic views of the Clayoquot Sound. It features a fish shop and native art gallery on-site. The property has an excellent view. Owners were very welcoming and helpful.

Built in 1905, this historic adult-only B&B enjoys a garden setting just 5 minutes’ drive from Victoria ferry terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all areas. That's definitely a special place! And the magic here is done by the hotel team who are super friendly and dedicated. Breakfasts are delicious. Some people say that portions are too small, but that is strange to hear. They are medium ones (by European standards at least). Needless to say that the place itself is aesthetically pleasant, you can see it in the photos.

This adult only 110-year-old Italian mansion in historic Victoria is adjacent to the Government House and Gardens. It features a daily homemade breakfast and luxury rooms with a 2-person jetted tub. Impeccable! The room we stayed in was beautiful and had everything we needed. The breakfast was so delicious and the service was brilliant. I could not recommend enough. It was about a 20 minute walk into downtown but a really nice walk. The area is just lovely.
