Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Great location, quite quiet, close to the train station and bus and tram stops. Near catering establishments, dance studios. The bunk double beds in the dorm were particularly surprising. A key is provided for the lockers, so you don't need to bring your own. Note that the rosettes in Switzerland are of a slightly different type. The free public transport card provided to guests is a real lifesaver. Breakfast can be ordered for an additional fee (CHF 8). Common spaces are cozy, clean, well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. In the context of Swiss prices, the price of accommodation is not very high (city tax - CHF 4 per night - paid at the reception).

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. Great experience. Far better than we had in Mulhouse on our stop to Colmar. Basel and this hotel in contrast were wonderfully organized and welcoming. Only problem that i had was the noise of the trams right under our window but not enough to hinder our sleep after a tiring day of exploring the city.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. Great property - well laid out room (no fridge). Extremely comfortable and modern. Excellent view of the river. Tram was a 2 minute walk. We ate at the outdoor restaurant on one evening g and the food was excellent and service outstanding.
