You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. I rarely give the highest rating, but this place deserves it as it was really comfortable. The room was well equipped and clean (big plus for two kinds of pillows where you can actually feel the difference), breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty, and staff very kind and helpful. I also enjoyed the current art collection displayed, great initiative.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Its great location close to the city centre, its spacious and comfortable rooms and, most important, its very friendly and helpful staff! Many thanks to Kristina and her colleagues!

City pass covered tram use and 50% discount at the Kunstmuseum Basel. Highly recommended.
