Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. Location is about 5-10 minutes walk from city center, room is nice, staff is very pleasant

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Staff friendly and responsible. It’s clean, location is good.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. This hotel exceeded our expectations, looks more like a 4 star hotel. We booked the comfort room and it looked like in the pictures. Good size and very clean. The staff was nice and helpful.

The Basel Backpack is housed in a renovated historic factory, only 10 minutes from Basel’s main train station. The Basel Mobility Ticket (free public transport) is included in the rates.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Very convenient location near trams and buses; quiet neighborhood, cool complex. Appreciated the inexpensive breakfast, staff help, and washer. We booked a two-person private room with its own bathroom and it was perfect. Staff helped us dry clothes when the guest dryer broke.

The Hotel Victoria offers traditional hospitality and modern hotel comforts in the centre of Basel next to the main train station (SBB). You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. They offered a bottle of prosecco for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Helped with the charge for our parking when we forgot the key and had to leave it 2 nights!

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Good location for access to all areas of the city, especially as there was a free Basel card for public transport.Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good. Free hot drinks throughout the day was welcoming

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. All rooms include a minibar which is refilled every second day and which can be used free of charge. Excellent location and outstanding service. Will fully recommend.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free.

It offers non-smoking rooms, a rich buffet breakfast, 24-hour continental breakfast and 24-hour hotel bar. Wi-Fi access is free in the entire hotel. There is a also business corner with free access to the internet and a printer. The hotel is situated right next to the railway station and there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel provides day tickets to the public transport so it was very easy to take the tram a few stops to the centre. There are plenty of restaurants and food opportunities around the hotel, including the Markthalle food court. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly.

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. This was the third time we stayed in Hotel Euler. As usual, classy and cozy atmosphere, exceptional staff in a clean environment. Attention to details of a heritage hotel such as live pianist during evenings.
