Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. Everything was ok. The breakfast was very tasty, the room was big and very clean and the location was perfect, close to the city centrum.

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. Love this hotel. Third stay. Always a warm welcome from ladies on reception and during breakfast. Excellent stylish, comfortable hotel at a fair price. Easy one stop on bus 30 outside hotel to Basel SBB and on to airport. Perfect overnight stop. Old town Basel just down steps behind hotel.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Location was perfect for enjoying Fasnacht!

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. The patio is beautiful and so peaceful. The staff is so nice and make you feel like home. The breakfast is delicious. These all make you feel very prepared for a day of hard work. The beds, sheets and pillows are soft and comfortable. I also liked the bathroom, the towels, the decorating, lamps, light, etc. I wish to stay next year here too.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The facility was perfect (to me). The decor was exceptional, the space had a lot of charm, the neighbourhood was quite unique, and easily accessible from the main station whether you're arriving on foot or on public transit. As a bonus, as part of the stay I received a card which provided access to complimentary use of public transit within Basel. Everything was clean, organized, important information clearly provided by staff and well signed where appropriate. Additionally, they were happy to offer suggestions or recommendations about how to fill your time while in town - great ambassadors for Basel.

You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. Our first stay at Hotel Victory chosen primarily for its location. We were upgraded to a truly amazing room: large, beautiful view of the city and nicely equipped. Add to this an interesting architecture and an attentive staff. We are frequent visitors to Basel and our future choice for hotel in Basel will be Hotel Victoria.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Excellent location. The staff was very helpful and kind. I recommend the place. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free.

There is a also business corner with free access to the internet and a printer. The location was great in that we needed to get to the train early in morning. Staff was super nice. Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. Maintaining an atmosphere of the good-old-day hotel. I was welcomed by a live piano music at the hotel entrance. Staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. It is so close to the central station.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. Location is amazing, in the heart of city center, with the terrace on the Rhein River. The stuff is very nice and helpful.
